Pastor: Rev. Michael McNamara, Message: “This Kingdom is Different”

It is easy to say that the kingdom of God is different from the kingdoms of earth, but the reality is that the contrasts are multifaceted and bountiful. Jesus, through his vision of a Kingdom of God, is calling us into a different way of living.  The church is a part of this, and plays a different role than any other institution in our society.  We are not meant to wall ourselves off from the world around us, for we are called to truly be in the world, but at the same time we are called to a different kind of vocation, a different ordering of foundational values, and ways of being in the world. We will explore all of this together on Sunday.
