Message: “Learning to Wait” Rev. Michael McNamara: The scripture readings this week highlight an alertness needed to keep oneself from getting distracted by all the prognosticating indicating a horrific future, which he acknowledges may very well come in the short term. In many ways Jesus is advocating a need to hurry up and wait. Luckily Jesus' life gives us clues on learning how to wait and more than just wait, to endure what may happen in the meantime and to trust in the future.
